Radio problem

I had some work down on our K12 and the battery was disconnected. My daughter picked the car up, realised the radio didn't work and stupidly punched in some random numbers. They didn't work, so the radio now displays 'Wait 1 Hr'.

Thing is, I have waited for an hour (or longer) but the display doesn't revert to 'Code' so the radio will not work. I do have the correct code to input if I am ever allowed to do this. Anyone got any ideas?

i don`t know if this will work but what about disconnecting the battery leaving it off for like 1hr an then see if it reverts back to the code screen might be worth a try

I had the same problem, i don't normally drive anywhere for longer than 1 hour so had to leave it on the drive with ignition turned to 1, left it like this for just over an hour and bob's ya aunties uncle it gives me the code option again.
(which i'm still trying to get!)
