Quick bike carb question

I have a set of fzr 400 carbs, would it be worth making them fit or are they too small/ under powered
Only asking cause I've not done something like this before

are they 32mm mikuni,s karl ? because your twinchoke hitachi carb is a 26mm/30mm apparently
(4 x 32 is somewhat bigger than 26 + 30 eh :grinning:

Ahh cheers frank, didn't know the sizing for either tbh. Both are still on their engines it was just an idea I had whilst driving home (bikes in a friends garage).

Whilst on the subject if I got them to fit would it be worth the effort?

sure, its a dead straight run instead of the contorted route of the k10 mani eh
and the k10 mani is a perfect shape to cut the 4 inlet runners off near the head and fit rubbers to them iirc (k11 mani runners dip down sharply, which means you cant do it on ours :suspect

When you say rubber do you mean rubber hose? Like I said never done this before so sorry for the silly questions

yes karl, most superbike carbs are mounted on rubbers, which should make it easier for you to adapt
