PS problem

Hi Folks

Hoping someone can help me with this. 2005 urbis and had the dreaded PS light on, got it knocked out it lasted about 9 months then came on a stayed on!!

My mot is due on Friday so I have got work done to the car and a unit from the scrapyard fitted. Everything works again as it should however after about 5 minutes of driving the red car symbol with a key comes on and stays on! This does not interfere with the driving in anyway but I would like to get it out. Can anyone tell me how I can go about this?

Have you tried a code reader to clear any codes. Maybe that would work you could try that or visit a garage and have them clear them for you.
I also have 05 urbis s that is up for mot really soon. Have so far changed our the wipers front and rear. Refurbished the headlights as best I can.
Have not yet experienced any lights on the dash.
Will be getting a code reader if this ever happens to me.
