Pre facelift engine onto a facelift gearbox?

hi i would like to know if a pre facelift engine (93) will fit onto a facelift (99) gearbox? i would like to replace my facelift engine because its done 125000 miles, any help would be grateful thanks.

my 94 k11 has a facelift engine in, as long as it,s not a coilpack engine (post 2000 iirc), it,ll fit ok

thats good to know thanks frank well i'll have a look and see how easy it is to take out

did you want the engine mate? need to know quite soon as the car will be going. could take out the engine for you and keep it for a week or so if needed but would want a deposit of some kind.
