poor running

I've recently bought a 2001 1.0s for the wife, it has developed a reluctance to pull cleanly especially when cold and is hesitant when trying to accelerate, it has also cut out at junctions etc.
Searching the net reveals that it could be the throttle body/air mass meter and I pick up some info on a quick fix related to dry solder joints in the throttle body behind a plate sealed with silicon however ours does not appear to have the aforementioned plate, can anyone advise me what to do next.
P.S. It's been on the diagnostic at a Nissan main dealer and a Bosch set up at an independent garage who both informed me it's ok..... but it isn't.

my bosch throttle bodies giving me exactly the same symptons, i brought a 2nd hand one of a very low mileage micra for fairly cheap, i dont think theres a DIY way of fixing these throttle bodies
