I don't see how knowing would help either because TBH I couldn't say how far 10 meters would be from were I was standing anyway.

Arnold www.alanarnold.co.uk Moderator Site Supporter Nov 13, 2006 #3 I know the stopping distances but they're useless. As goldstar says, its hard to judge xxx meters down the road, and besides each car brakes differently on different road surfaces anyway. I cant stand drivers who tailgate though.
