The below rules are borrowed off another website which does the same thing each month, and seems to work pretty well, so..
The rules are as follows:
1) Only one entry per month per entrant.
2) Attach your picture in a reply to this thread
3) Image size must be a maximum of 800x600 pixels - Any larger & they'll be deleted.
4) Digital manipulation is allowed (all images must be your original pictures though).
5) You may change your entry as many times as you like before the entry cut off date by editing your post in this thread.
6) Please include a little information with your entry regarding what equipment was used and where abouts the picture was taken.
7) Only posts with competition entries are allowed in this thread. Others will be removed.
8) Closing date for entries is 31st May. This thread will be closed any time on that day, so make sure your entries are in before!
9) A poll will be conducted over 5 days after the closing date to choose the competition winner, you will able to vote for just one entrant.
10) There will be monthly competitions. The top three pictures from each months competition will go into a Grand Final in December 2008.
11) No prize to be awarded at the end, it's just a bit of fun!
12) The winner of the monthly vote will choose the next topic.
13) Cars do not have to be featured in any of the photos. General photography is fine!
