passenger door window problem

Hi All, I have aproblem with my passenger side door window as I can lower it but not raise it something has come loose any idea? K11 1998 shape manual window winder's . yours Peter0003

Hi Peter, is it electric or manual. If it is electric would be easier to spot what is wrong. I have changed myself the lift mechanism and its pretty simple but if it is manual then there is some kind of rope and it may be the cause of not being able to raise it. Its not rocket science.

Doesnt matter. As its the clip that holds the window thats come off. a Micra doesnt use a cable for the windows.

Hi Guys, Tiger seal is a great glue for underwater sealing but would it be good for holding heavy glass. And the worst thing is my mechanic is saying that I would have to replace the glass which sounds crazy as it would cost £118 fitted by national windscreens & there's no breakage except for fine scratches on the surface of the glass. As long as the glass and the clip is cleaned properly it will hold. Else just get a window from a scrapyward.

Dear .Maarten, When you say "cleaned properly " is that with white spirit or something else? And getting a spare window from a scrapyard in my aera is not easy. Peter0003

Yep the glass needs to be clean for the glue to stick properly. But don’t forget to take some measurements so you know where it goes
