Parcel tray rattle fix (no.lol method).

Ok so my parcel tray was rattling unbearably. Checked it out, and one of the plastic lugs had fallen off.
This is a ghetto fix but it is totally free....
1. Get a pen that fits both ends, inside the tray tube and will clip on to the fastening.
2. Snap off the pen clip.
3. Insert pen into parcel tray.
4. Clip pen onto tray clip fastener.
Done. That's it. No more rattle.
P.S I used an office max clicky pen.

Great guide but is that model of pen available worldwide or just nz ? Just thinking about import charges if I had to fix mine ?

I find a shelf in the scrappy and snap off the hindg then using a dash screw screw it from the top. Strong and solid ,

Same problem - hinge had snapped off. 10x3" wood screw, screwed into the sheared off plastic, job done. Rough as, but stops it bouncing about.
