So I love my little micra but there's one thing which is niggling away at me and that's, that its not all one colour! I have a door which is a slightly different shade and a purple bumper, I'd love it to all be one colour but I don't think I can justify the prices that body shops charge, and I know with metallic it's not even worth a home-brew attempt to match up the door, what should I do??

that's what I did with my door but its still a slightly different shade, sucks ): having something non metallic would have made life easier :L
Have you tried rubbing/cutting compound and T-cut, on the not so matching panels?

I've tried t cut for blue cars and a product called colour magic, both to no avail, I know nissan made two very similar blues.. So my friend thinks the door is a different colour, (see my blog for pictures) might just go shop around and try get the bumper done one month and the door done another, but will look into these threads also
