Old k11 clocks in facelift?

is it physically possible (with wiring of course,i KNOW its not a direct swap).

after having a quick look at the haynes, im going for no. due to the polarity of some of the light signals.

anyone more electronically minded know if im wrong or not? thanks

i may know of someone that may be selling some black facelift clocks- with rev counter, and low mileage ones iirc.
