NW Bowling meet was Excellent

Was a great night, ive just got back and im soooo knackered ! only a few people didnt come but apart from that great turnout. The winner was Amber (Kristians g/f) and she is going to use the short shifter as an airfreshner haha !

the looooooseeerrr was the birthday girl Gemma ! who won a skittle...which i thought was a reaaaly excellent prize !

lots of fun things happen and im sure people will post them up here. Gemma, Amanda, Ian and John are on their way back to the NE as im typing this ! lots of pics where taken and i got some video which ill edit. Gaz get them pics up no matter how embarasing they are !

Also the amount of fun that me, James and Phil had with James's car was quite interesting and very entertaining !

Was great meeting everyone again and for some people the first time ! rough turnout of 18 people i think

P.S Thanks soo much to Phil - Alienfish for organising it....was top notch !!! Awsome Dawson strikes again !!!!

Thanks for the cake manda it was really nice of u all to celebrate my birthday last night even tho its a week early...had to wear my 21 badge 2!!

Although I really needed the shortshifter I also suck at bowling and am now the proud owner of 1 raceworx skittle...and I love it. Have to find a loving place for it to sit in my room now!!

Was nice to meet some more members and put faces to names and see u guys im such an unsociable cow (hehe)

The dodgems were fun! James lost his glasses and they nearly got ran over b4 some 1 saved them.

Cant wait for the next meet I think the bowling is a winner as every 1 enjoys it and can actually chat and get to now each other instead of driving about in your own car and getting lost :wasntme:

we're officially exhausted but it was soo worth it! im deffo up for the next one of these, november time i'll be in uni swotting away for my finals (ha) but im sure my loan will stretch to one airfare to manchester if someone *hint* would kindly come collect me although i think dundee airport only flies to gatwick and stanstead (nice one scottish...-_-) so james may have to be making another appearance!

Well I think that November would be a good one. Though with it being in the winter I think something indoor based would be best! But also something possibly different, I've been thinking about karting! I know of a good track that will do a grand prix style session for groups where you have a race series of 4 races with trophy etc and stuff for top 3 included in price.

Well there's the daytona track in Manc, and F1 Karting in Warrington. Though I suppose it would be better in Manchester considering this one was in Warrington, then I have to travel more then 3 mins too

Over the next couple of weeks, I'll look around and find good places and see what people prefer, then I'll start making enquiries into prices.

just spoke to ems and we've decided we'l give this a miss. We'l be in edinburgh then driving down to middlesborough followed by a drive to shipley, bradford, where we'l be visiting my dad. The next day we'l be doing Bradford back to Sussex!
