Number plate surround

Can anyone help me? I have smoothed the boot. Looking to move the number plate to the bumper but now with the laws it has to be lit. Any ideas? I cant find a surround what doesnt look too bulky

Cut and recess the bumper?? Similar to what the "fatherandson" project did.
