Noise when turning

Guys I've already searched for this problem but come up short

When the micra is full locked turning or around 70% full lock turning left or right there is a weird sound that never fails to make itself heard every day leaving the driveway.

It sounds like a constant ticking noise, like tick, tick, tick, tick - about 1 tick every 1/3 of a second.

Any ideas what it is? I'm guessing it's from the wheel area BTW

I changed my CV front left and right only 1 year ago, I'd surely hope its not them...

always double check the boots havent cracked and all the grease spun out of the joint. and check the inner cv's it's a mission but that sounds like a cv problem to me.

Sounds like CV Shaft issue to me mate too

Alright then, I guess I'll jack it up and check the boots for any problems, if they're not torn anywhere would I still have to take em off, re-grease them and make sure they're inserted properly?

Also is there any danger for letting it go and living with it? haha semi serious question...

i ran mine for over 12 months before getting round the changing them pierce (as long as the boots are intact)

Ive got that on the drivers side atm, just had new cv's fitted snd it startwd. its going back tues to get looked at again, will let you know what they find
