No power on full throttle

Hi there,
Just brought (today) a nissan micra 1.2 SE for my sister and she loves it, great car for first 20 mins of drive....

When all of a sudden after stopping for fuel there seems to be very limited power. It almost feels like a diesel waiting for the turbo to kick in, it really struggles to gain revs past 3k.

Does anyone have any ideas, do you think we should just take it back as the problems we've had/noticed already?

Any help is REALLY appreciated in this situation

My old K11 1997 used to do this occassionally, fault was traced to faulty mass air flow meter, I don't know if same would apply to K12. If purchased from a dealer I'd get backl there quick smart and negotiate repair at their cost
