Nissan Micra K12 Genuine Rear Spoiler on ebay

What K12 is that off of Mika? It's different from the OEM one on my K12 Sport+, in that it extends forward towards the roof and covers the hinge bumps on the tailgate, which mine doesn't.

Being of an inquisitive nature, (retired design engineer) I looked into this a bit further
The OEM factory fitted rear spoiler (K12 SR, Sport+ etc) is slightly different
and screwed and bonded onto the tailgate....
The one for sale on ebay is the one from the Nissan Micra K12 Accessory catalogue and has been designed to be post production fitted using just bonding, hence the bigger surface area, in contact with the tailgate, in the centre.
Nissan's original catalogue price for this was almost £300
but as the K12 has been out of production for 6 years now, they are currently being heavily discounted by UK main dealers, the cheapest that I have seen being about £138, shipped, so anything below that for the ebay one is a bargain.Similar threads
