Nissan Micra K12 2003 1.2 5-door hatchback body control module

Rear tailgate refused to open, changed switch and lock, still no joy. Was thinking it might be broken cable near hatch door, but when my mate at the garage connected his diagnostic ipad thingy to the car, he could open the tailgate by pressing buttons on the ipad. So, we reckon it's the body control module that's at fault. Due to the age of the car I'm thinking of getting a second-hand module. But, I've been confronted with 2 different module part numbers for a 2003 K12! ...... 284B2BC520 and 284B2BC620. Anyone know the difference and would it matter? I would remove the dashboard and check the number on the existing BCM, but I've just been fitted with a pacemaker and must not do certain exertive things or left arm movements for 6 weeks. The MOT is due in late November and would like to get the part in time for my garage pal to fit it in 3 weeks time when I'll be allowed to drive again. The joys of getting old........ Thanks in advance.

All I can say is Well...well...well. Reading through past posts on the forum I found a post where someone mentioned 'anti-hijack mode'. Didn't know anything about this, probably like most people, but decided to give it a try. Pressed the open and close buttons on the key at the same time, the indicator lights flashed then 5 seconds later I let go. Pressing the open button on the key 5 times now allows the tailgate to be opened. Who would have thought, huh! Problem solved without having to pay for diagnostics.
