Nissan Micra K10 Gearbox wanted

Nissan Micra K10 Gearbox wanted.

4-speed or 5-Speed not fussy

Preferably under 30,000 miles but will consider slightly higher milage for the right price

Will collect within 80 miles of Bournemouth

This is to replace the 1991 K10 Gearbox which has been making alot of noise for a few months. I thought it was the Clutch/Thrust Bearing so i took it to probably the best Garage on the planet and they have informed me that the Gearbox Bearings are worn. I have tried to source a Gearbox from 247 spares and Mental dude without much success as yet. None in my local scrappy.

This seems to be a common complaint within the K10 Gearboxes.

try an early k11 1.0 box and give us a definative answer that they do fit ok ?

I know about the K10 boxes but i'm not really up to speed when it comes to mixing and matching k10 Engines with K11 Gearboxes :blush:

Money is tight too, just spent a load on a new Cambelt and water pump so don't really wanna be experimenting at the mo

ive got a 5 spd box thats done 80k and still in good condition £100?

collection from sawtry, huntingdon or poss meet half way but u will have to pay my fuel, fuel bill for a 200sx is bti more than a micra lol

I believe i saw a thread about this type of Gearbox last year sometime but i dont think a definative answer was achieved. Has anyone done it?
