Everyone needs something to aim for as there next car, so these are the 4 i would like most to modify... which one would you vote best to tune/style??

Nova GSI, GTE, SR 1.3 on twin 40's, any 2.0 lol
Renault 5 turbo
Uno Turbo

but for now i wouldnt give on the k10 i love them too much lol

the clio WILL breakdown all the time, civics are everywhere, escorts are rust buckets, so it would leave the almera as the best of all 4

i liked my civic, the SOHC vtec could move pretty damn quick, i imagine if you got a 1.6 VTi (160bhp) you wouldnt be disapointed.

yeah thats why i asked which engines in each car,,cos the 182 aint exactly diapointing is it..lol,,also cosworth escort,gti mera,,n like ian sed the vti civic are all good motors

but the entry level models is a different story ide stil go with mera

have you considered a primere gt, insurance group 8 and about 8 to 60, 150bhp if im not mistaken. this is my next car. problem is finding a low mileage one. and without a towbar (is it me or do all gt's have a towbar installed on them)

yeah because you have to be over 40 to be able to insure one,,and most 40+ own caravans

EDIT: my next car is a k12 160sr,,picking it up on friday

primera GTs are 150 at the fly

my SRi is just as quick as a GT and costs a heck of a lot less on insurance though...

simple to sort out the performance though
Primera GT cams fit straight in... either GT exhaust header or a hotshots one, full exhaust system, decent cold air intake and you are looking at around 130bhp at the wheels

my car is 0-60 in 8 seconds (132bhp at the wheels), but considering the car weights 1400Kg (including a rather heavy sound system)

HOWEVER the Almera GTi has the same engine as the PrimeraGT and because its a ligther car (slightly) will have the edge in both handeling and slightly in performance

you dont have to be 40 at all to insure one..

My SRi is £1000 (1 years NCB, 1 non fault crash, all mods declared) for fully comp and im 21 - the GT does cost more on insurance (higher insurance group) simply because they are desired cars, however the SRi is a lower inusrance group...

also as long as the car has a good FSH and a service manual full of receipts go for it... these engines last for ages - easily 200k out of them if looked after right.

if you can find a decent one... an S13 200sx would be a good choice, but watch out for 'chocolate big ends'

when has anyone ever seen a rusty MK6 escort?

the escort would be the best car to mod, because theres so much stuff around for it at a good price.

you could just get a clio 172 and be done with it.
