Hi guys. I'm looking at buying a 1.0 2002 manual tomorrow.
The car has about 90k
The car was advertised as 'gearbox difficult to change gear'. Since speaking to the seller they say it's just hard to get into 1st. Now I've read up on the linkages seizing up and the spring thing but not sure what else the problem could be.
If the clutch is knackered that's not a problem as long as it gets me home. But if it turns out to be the gearbox how much am I looking for a new box or recon one ??
Also what else should I be looking for in general?
