i plan on using the rear sub from s13 and relocating the fuel tank in to the boot i all read have a s13 enging gear box loom but the chassie is rotten so time for a sleeper
it will have to have a huge wide arch kit and also be lower than snake ####

Don't know if you want to make your own but kristian posted this earlier...

Great for just £500 and an extra £500 for spray and fitting!

Other than that, GOOD LUCK!

You're braver than most! haha! I don't know how you can make a wide arch sleeper... i think most people will have a guess that it's fast when they see a set of 295 tires on a micra! o_O

You should probably know that what you're about to do really means you'll be building your own tube chassis and essentially welding a micra body onto it. K11 engine bay is not large enough to squeeze a north-south positioned motor in there - yet alone have it mounted so the majority of the weight is behind the front axle/suspension turrets so it doesnt start to handle like an american car. pretty cool thing to do if you're up for it.

Big, big, big project. Probably wont be road legal either.

Okay my link is dead. :( Basically there is a motorsport-only k11 in the UK which has custom front and rear end and a heavily modified floorpan and firewall to accept a cosworth escort 2.0L with a whole new RWD drivetrain. The car was white if I remember correctly. I'm not even sure if the guy who was doing it finished it!

Yom's right!

It may even be easier (it's a bit of a joke saying easy) to mid-mount the engine!!! I've seen this done localy with a 205 gti! Cosworth powerplant also!

That means you dont have to worry about your handling (as much) but it does mean you'll be doing alot of work to strengthen the car to put mid mounts it!

I don't even know if it'll be worth all this hassle! Well... not unless your a total car NUTTER and have the cash...

I want you to go for it! It sounds exciting!

Yup even a midmount is some crazy ####. You wont be able to use the micra floorpan, you'll have to build the engine into the car using another frame - ie: integrated into a full rollcage in the cabin. At least thats how Autech did it with their midmounted VQ powered K11's. Plus then you need a FWD gearbox suitable for the CA engine that won't shred gears as soon as you put the boot into it. Not to mention an almost completely custom rear suspension setup.

lol it'd be easier to cut the body off a GTIR and slam a heavily modified (extended, enlarged, strengthened, etc) K11 shell onto the RNN14 chassis. :p Not an uncommon practise here when people want to convert their N14 Pulsars to AWD. Nothing wrong with it either if its done properly. Its a perfect chance for the floorpan and body to be beefed up as well.

tube chasis would be the best way of going about this bad boy..would need the bulckhead modifying for the Box and some of the engine to fit.. whilst leaving enough space for a FMIC i would put the rad in the boot to distribute some of the weight to the rear..

get it done. get a shell some tube and an angle grinder.

i remeber reading in magazine about a guy who put a cosworth engine in a 206. custom floorpan was needed, bulkhead had to be cut etc..... lots of work was involved but it went in. it will cost a bombage to get it in safely, then if its been used on the road there could be lots of issues with handling.

i am planning on spending 4-5 k on this project so cost aint an issue its th practicality of it

Even if you do it yourself I dare say this project will cost you more than that (yes I am aware you're talking UK pounds!).
