I actually got a days driving tuition as a christmas present, half a day on the skid pan at Elvington, learning to control slides and suchlike, half a day learning defensive driving...

yes i signed up and they just emailed me and said they were looking for someone to tutor me, then they said they didn't have anyone and i haven't heard anything back!
So i kind of gave up!

Agreed! i've always wanted to go on a skid pan etc. Ems got me a rally track day experience thing for christmas. I think it's so i get experience of a fast car, for when mine's completed, but the hand brake turns and stuff might come in useful for cornering
