picked up a set of alloys for £70 thats come off a mates corsa :sleepy:

(all pics were taken at the same time, it was just the flash that ####ed the bottom 2 pics)

The back 1's need refurbing and painting, and the fronts need to be painted properly and tyres need swaping over so the painted sidewall is on the inside. Also because of the weight of another engine and g.box and 4 wheels + loads of other stuff, the arches touch the tyres :lol:

I was thinking of painting them matt black, what do you think?

They need doing though. The front 1's have been done crap and the backs need doing as corrosion has got under the orig paint. :k10:

i also agree, not black mate, but its your choice remember

its strange because i think red cars with black wheels look nice, just not sure on this one?

same with green and black (gun metal grey) alloys (like mine....hehe :grinning: )

I think it's just down to the type of wheel. Black wheels could look good, just not those (imo). Lol, speedle and i suggested gunmetal at the same time - then again, we've both owned the same gunmetal alloys! The colour looks great on a red car, just check mine out
