just got a 2010 1.5 diesel. goes fine etc but when you rev it from idle, just at pick up and as the revs drop to idle again there is a horrible clatter/rattle. am new to diesels, is this normal or? thanks

Sounds like a vibration problem, could be an exhaust bracket etc. go to a garage that provides free exhaust inspections and when they raise the car with engine running you may get a better look at the problem from underneath! I had a similar problem before being tuned so (I) replaced the lot £69 for the full system on E-Bay!
