Hi all ..bought a little micra only a 2003
K12 16v automatic sport full history 1 owner with 48k on the clock .great little cheep car for £100 ttbh.but.3 days ago . was driving fine .turned engine off to pop to shops came out and just cranked won't start... popped into garage who said camsensor faulty .so they fitted another off I went 2 days later same ssystoms went back same fault . they replaced the sensor apparently geniune one ..only charged for fitting it .off I went again ..
Yep u guess same fault again .. they saying the sensors are breaking down or blowing .they saying possibly ecu at fault or timing chain .
Any advise other then weight it in .I do notice .Evern thow it cranks and dosent start then rpm moves when cranking which I assume must mean crank sensor isn't fault ..
Ps there's no nnoisees in fact all u can hear is a slight ticking of injectors really loverly to drive..
Any idea what the sycro measures between crank and camshaft..and is it measured via fault code reader
