New K12 owner with a question!

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd say hello as I've just bought a one-owner K12 Micra from a friend of a friend. I needed a cheap runabout while I repair my trusty Rover's clutch this winter.

Here's the new arrival:



Not too bad for £100! It's a 1.2 with 117 miles on the odometer.

I was poking around the engine bay this afternoon as I was treating it to an oil and filter change and came across this perished and disconnected hose:



The end that's still connected goes down to the gearbox so I'm guessing it's a breather tube, but it would he good to know where the other end belongs

I've got a few little jobs to complete to make it a nice place to be, but I'm hopeful that it will be a good little workhorse while I need it.

it's a breather you are spot on. I think it goes to a cap and then bolts to the bulk head or similar. a quick check of the manual, I can only find one mention of it and it's a crap image. cable tie it out the way somewhere.
