need some advice!!!

can anyone help me, ive lowered my car but for some reason the front springs are making a funny noise!! just wondered if when anyone else lowered theirs did you replace the shocks aswell???

Did you wobble them around and sit them correctly in the cups of the shocks?

ye, the springs have to be twiested to make sure in correct place.

the garage has said there in the right place!! unless they are upside down. it makes like a bonging noise when you but full lock on.

Its just the spring moving in the cup. Happens to mine all the time...

as young titch said, its pretty common. Dont worry about it, make yourself a mug of horlicks, tuck yourself up and have a good nights kip

I don't know about Micras so much, but on my 200sx when I changed the springs, the original springs had sort of rubber sheaths on the top and bottom to cover the springs where they touch the cup. They stop unwanted noises. You have to take these off your old ones and put them on your shiny new springs or you will get a nasty noise.
