Need A New Gearbox!!

Hey all.

I'm needing to get hold of a gearbox for my 93 L reg K11. 1.0L
Mine gave up at the weekend on the motorway!!
Do i have to fit a box from the same year of car, e/g 93-94 or can i fit one out of say an R reg K11.
My local scrappy has a box out of an R reg K11 so would this fit.

You could probally have the old one from mine.
Was in perfect working order when i took it out.

You will need a pre 96 box, otherwise you will have to mess about with sapeedo connection and mounting points. You will also need to get a 1l box as your is before they had the shared transmission with the 1.3
