NATS remote not working

Hey guys,
i come from the german nissan board because they weren't able to help me with my problem. i searched this board and it seems that here are people who could help me

so here we go:

both nats remote controls for central locking stopped working, so can you tell me how to do this procedure to register the keys with the car? ( i found one here in the board but that one was for the remote that isn't integrated into the key and didn't work for me)
so if this doesn't help what could be a reason for the problem? where is the receiver for this? has it got an antenna which could be not properly connected? and what about the "timing control unit" (or something) which i read about could be a source.

Key in the ignition
1.Turn key from off to on 6 times in 10 secs

2. Turn to lock. 2 flashes from indicators.

3. Press and hold unlock and then press lock 3 times. 1 flash from indicators.

4. Remove key and insert next key. Do not turn!!! Press and hold unlock and then press lock 3 times. 1 flash from idicators.

Repeat 4 for extra keys.

This works fine on my 2000 Primera which has the same type of key.

i tried it and everything went fine until step 3. no flashing for 'key accepted'.

so where is this box with the receiver to check if it has some sort of electronic defect?

anyone knows where the receiver resides?
