My micra gearbox doesn't work???

Since i have changed the oil for my micra 1995, 4 speed auto gearbox, I noticed that my GEAR Box had problem. I can't drive I used Castrol VMX 80. Suppose, it may be not suitable. Does anyone can help??? pls give me the standard of API or SEA in which they're recommended.

is,nt yours a cvt gearbox ?
if so,it should be atf fluid, not gear oil !

Thank, frank. Of course! it's a CVT gearbox.

Is that the Manual or Auto gearbox fit to the same transmission fluid?

How much for the new CVT for replacement?

manual boxes use ep 80 gear oil
auto boxes use auto transmission fluid (usually red )
you might find mixing them has caused it to congeal (gone lumpy),which might have blocked the galleries in the valve block !
a new cvt would be meggabucks, options are trying to flush out yours or manual g/box conversion ?
