Muffler back box installation

hiya guys, just wondering whether or not 2 get a new muffler for my '96 1.0 micra. what's it like trying to fit yourself? i was looking under the car the other day and to me it looked quite complicated?
any ideas or tips or hints on the subject??

the back box is only held on with 2 bolts, and the rubbers flick off ok with a lever if you grease the rods
some copy exhausts use m10 captive nuts and others use the stock 10mm metric fine thread

the back box is suspended by rubber hangers, and if you grease the rods that are welded onto the silencer, the rubbers will slide off
