Hi guys. I found your forum when my micra packed it in the other day. I drove up to a zebra crossing. All fine. I stop to let someone pass and as this happens my CVT light comes on. No drive at all. I'm sat in D and the engine revvs fine but it's like I'm sat in N. Check the connecting rod to the gearbox and that is working fine. No friction or dodgy sounds at all.
I ran the diagnostic thing a few times and came up with error code 3 twice. The vehical speed sensor fault. But the battery supply or memory backup fault has come up 10 times. Anyone got any clues as to where I should be looking to amend this issue? Cars only got 45,000 on the clock and normally runs and pulls very smooth.
