Misfire when idle, but ok when revving - HELP

Het guys, I got myself another micra which has a problem. Basically there's a a constant misfire on cyclinder 2. But when you rev or drive it's smooth (but cylinder 2 down on power). Checked spark plug and injectors which work fine.

Any ideas guys?

if its a burnt valve you would be able to feel it by just turning the engine (tho the valves are usually bulletproof )

there will be no compression on that cylinder, if its burnt
you should be able to feel the 4 compressions at each tdc

sounds like your best way would be a tester, there not expensive

basically what franks saying is as you turn the crank by hand (or ratchet etc) you should feel 4 compressions per revolution, in not then somthings wrong, another method im sure frank has used is to put it in gear and push it on the flat, you should feel the compressions as your pushing it.

but i guess the definative way of testing is a compression tester
