Micra radio code

John_D thank you so much. first code worked. ( i wasted £10 on buying codes that didn't work). Nice to know that there good people out there!
 
Try pushing the correct input button on the radio, perhaps the 'UP' button on the right hand white knob? Failing that I haven't a clue.
 
Anyone else got any ideas, still can’t get it to work, when you input the numbers it just doesn’t do anything when u press the up button. Doesn’t tell me wrong code or anything the number just stays there. I can get the radio to Work temporarily (when you do the trick with 1 and 2 buttons) and the scan up button does work on the radio setting, so it doesn’t seem to be faulty.
I’m a bit lost with anything else to try. I’ve double checked the numbers I gave in the first couple of posts and they are correct.
Anything else I can try?

Codes right, you just haven't found the right button to input the code. Try pressing different buttons after typing the code in.

Hi, is it possible someone could help me with a radio code please. Just bought a 2004 and the radio is asking for the code and i have no handbooks ?. Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone,
The usual problem, have brought a Micrs SX dci and no hand book therefore no radio code. Clearly the previous owner had a battery changed at Halfords without keeping a voltage on the car. Result, lost coding. Both my other two micra's came with codes. I have the BP number as below but the part number (11) digits starts with 86 when everyone else seems to start with a 7.
Any help is greatly appreciated

No problems, try 6202 or 0202...........

Many thanks for that, 6202 worked first time. Whilst the standard radio is good quality, it does not have the bells and whistles of newer headunits. So I don't know why it is not easier to get the radio codes as who is going to steal such a unit!
Anyhow, we much apperciate your help in getting the radio up and running.
