Just recently my Micra has been intermittently running on three cylinders.
It started off at first from cold it would run on three for a few minutes and then for the rest of the day it would run fine. However just lately it has been getting more persistent and now running on three permanently. When cruising along I can feel the other cylinder trying to spring into action.
It's worth noting that the problem eased a bit when I changed the plugs and then I started running it on 97ron which also helped for a while.
I've purchased today, points, condenser, distributor cap and roter arm as well as a new set of leads. Hoping that this will cure the problem.
It's only on 39,000 miles and has service history.
