Our 2005 K12 had an EPS failure several months ago, our local garage sourced a rebuilt replacement which they installed. All was good for a few months, but since then we have an intermittent failure which brings up code C1606 on the diagnostics.
Clearing the code works for a while, then the same thing happens; I read that the code C1606 could be the EPS motor, the steering angle sensor on the steering wheel or a mysterious electric amplifier component.
Anyone out there got any clues please?
