hello there,
I'm losing a lot of power when accelerating even being in 4th gear I feel something is pulling my back. does anyone else have this problem or know what's going on.

Try using first, second, & third gears before fourth gear & pedal to the metal?

thanks for replying, I am putting my foot to the floor when accelerating. Putting car in for diagnostic tomorrow morning see what's going on.

There are unlikely to be any useful fault codes if the amber check engine light is not illuminated when driving?

Hopefully it only needs a complete service & a can of injector cleaner to restore its acceleration get up & go.

Flat out at 60mph may cost a lot more than a service to repair! Explain all the issues to the mechanic & additionally ask them to drive it to experience the problems to assist quick diagnosis and total price quote to repair?

Let us know what the workshop come up with & or how it pans out?
