With such a small engine all the basics will make a significant difference. Mine feels so much pokier after a really good service; engine flush, all new fluids, new plugs and a new filter. The lighter wheels have made a big difference too!
I'm a big fan of making the most of what you have, keeping everything clean and in good condition will reduce the mechanical drag, resulting in more power at the wheels. Plus, new oem parts are cheaper than fancy aftermarket bits!
The next job for me is to work through all the electrical connections, clean them out and replace any that are in bad condition. Checking the earths in particular are all clean and corrosion free is very worthwhile.
