Micra 2009 - Changing cabin air filter

Hi I am looking for advice on how to replace pollan filter in 2009 Model Micra. I know its behind glove box but I am unable to remove glove box even after un screwing 7 screws.

Where is the pollen filter?

Time to change - approx. 15 minutes


How Easy to change - moderate

Tools Needed?
no tools needed !

Fitting Stage 1:-
The filter is located behind the centre consule where it slides into a vertical filter housing. From the footwell find the end of the plastic filter. You may need to remove the glove box and or partially remove a consule side panel to see it.

Fitting Stage 2:-
Grip the projecting lug of the old filter (should be at the bottom of the filter) and pull up and out. Insertthe new filter and refit any previously removed items of facia.

I think he needs to know how to remove the glove box. :laugh:

I don't know how to get the glove box off myself!
