Micra 2004 Battery Flat- Now will not start?

The battery in my Nissan Micra 2004 1.4 went flat so I recharged the battery and refitted it, however now the car will not start.
The car has the keyless entry system

I plugged in a OBDII reader and it scanned as p1610/p1611 error code and I tried erasing it but the p1611 reappears as soon as I turn the car off and put the car into ignition again.

What is wrong?

you probably have to reprogram the key eh guy,s site may have the procedure listed ?

a google search came up with a few sites saying to turn ign on for 5 secs, then off for 5 secs, then repeat twice (have you got another key ?)

I have 2 keys but it does not seem to be starting with either. The doors unlock with both keys using the key fob.
I tried that procedure but it does not seem to turn on.

remove the earth lead off battery for 2 mins. the reconnect, unlock vehicle with fob then turn ignition on wait 10 seconds then try starting. make sure the battery is at least 12volt or it will never come out of lock mode
