Hello, just fitted a replacement engine on a project car. has been running ok but then got a cylinder 4 misfire code, that then progressed to P300 multiple misfire. The injectors coils and plugs are all fine so im beginning to think its the IPDM although not fault is shown for this. cleared the fault codes and its running ok just now. the inlet seals are fine, and im running out of ideas.
Any ideas ? can you just buy the ECM relay for the white IPDM or does it have to be replaced ? is there any one in Leeds that can code a replacement if I buy one ? thanks
oh, could it be the fuel pump ? I have power at the pump and the relay can be activated on my diagnostic gear - not checked the pressure though.
