Micra 2003 cooling coil leaking

Hi All,

Can't find a thread about cooling coil leaking issue. my vehicle is micra K12, petrol 1.4 automatic 2003. the mechanics told me the air condition not working because the cooling coil is leaking and need to be replaced but suggesting not to fix as dash board need to be taken off which will cost a fortune. Also I can't find the cooling coil part in any where to buy.

Could please someone give me an advise.

As with major overhauls like the problem you are referring to, my advice would be to check the scrapyards (vehicle recycles as they now call them self's) for parts, there are websites that these recycle's sign up to to enable to your source the parts you may need. see my previous reply's to download your own manual onto your computer and get an insight into what may be involved. I personally don't have an Auto but get the free manual down load and read up for your self, you will get more insight into your car and avoid been flanneled by technical rubbish and expensive garage bills.?
