Mesh Legal

So i got hold of some mesh off a friend and im thinking of fitting it to my existing grill...but im wondering if theres any sort of legal issues here?
Also what about insurance issues?

I would think not being as its purely cosmetic and ill be placing it from inside the grill with glue but i just wanted to make sure.

Any answers welcome as i checked previous posts and there was nothing on this.

i wouldnt think you would have any problems with it

providing there are no sharp edges on the outside of the vehicle its perfectly legal.
