Marks from de-badge

I removed the micra badge form my boot a while ago using petrol. It came off with no problem took a bit of scrubbing but came off, I then washed the petrol away with no marks. That was about two weeks ago, now a marks appeared and I dont understand how or why...? any ideas? I can get some pic later, camera batterys flat atm.

all depends on what marks? if its like a ghost of the badge then its probably the newer paint underneath, would be easier when you get some pictures.

thats would just be the fresher paint. probably just need to blend it in im sure someone on here can advise you the best way to do it!

try a nice elbow greaseing of t-cut wash and polish seems to have done mine ok

Yeah as the boys say -just elbow grease! used t-cut if that doessn't solve it then you would need to respray the tailgate, yellow isn't a bad colour to polish.

ooo theres no need for a respray, if T-Cut doesnt do it use some G3 cutting compound, it is more abrasive and after that just build up layers of polish

fiiinaly got the pics, managed to do it on the foggiest day possible





I'll see what I have tommorrow and have a go at getting rid, will lets you know.
