Ma10 Upgrades

Am asking for a complete list of upgrades for the ma10et.....
I need to know what parts to get and what to do.....
I want to reach between 120-180hp

Saw a guy post this on another website:

the ma10 is a march 1000 cc engine there's a ma10et which is a turbo version and the ma09ert which is the super turbo version that is 930 cc where as the ma10 is 989cc . If u want to mod a ma10 cabby u will have to take it to a bike tuner due to it size .. list of mod for NA applications i heard are the ma10et or ma09ert on the ma10 block rasies the compression and the head design is better, 4 cabbys like the bikes grind cams as there are no aftermarket racing cams port head, coil etc .. turbo the ma09ert head on the ma10et block with the ma10 pistons with a toyota levin or toyota crown supercharger and a t28 turbo , bigger injectors and fuel pump rumored to deliver 200+ hp on a 1000 cc engine. read a march did a 160 mph in 1/2 mile stretch and 13sec 1/4 on a conversion similar to this

So help me out guys........List parts and install info
 
wtf lol. well to start it would have to be fully forged and balanced ect and a t28 would be to big/laggy imo you might find the turbo from a tommi makinen edition evo 6 a bit better as it had a titanium aluminide turbine so will spool faster than a t28 but i still have doubts the ma10,ma09ert,ma10et would stay in one piece. you would be better speaking to baz or ed. but if you building a fast drag car i would look at other engines.

Yeah tommi mak turbos are cheap too :eek: lol you can get 4 t28s for the price of one tommi mak, you could also just get a gt2871r which is still cheaper second hand.
On to the first post 180bhp from a ma10 what's the point?
You'll spend 1000s on strengthening the engine it'll never run spot on and will be as rough as hell!
If you have a ma10et or ma09ert then they are worth retaining for concours reasons keeping the car pure to it's roots! But if it's a boggo ma10 from a boggo 1 litre then why waste time money effort on it? You'll be able to drop an sr20det in for allot less which is capable of 350bhp before you need worry about the internals, and they can be pushed much further if you have a good mapper and big balls!

Failing that just buy a fig engine and drop it in see how that power feels! 180bhp on the road in a boggo k10 is suicide
 
It is possible yes but not something you can just do, expect that sort of build to be ridiculously expensive before you even touch the chassis. Nothing readily available off the shelf and quite a few abandoned projects.
 
Well I trying a thing....I tryin to see if i could make my stock ma10 go up to 130-140bhp......ppl giving me ideas an then nothing.....a guy told me use the ma10et head,cam,sump pan,turbo,piggy back ecu,bigger injectors,etc.....:eek:
 
it would cost a fortune what do you want it for? everyday car? track car? drag car? or all 3?

if you want good power and drivability go for a cg13 and turbo it cause it would corner better than going down the sr20 route. and you would save a lot of cash.

if you want a balls out drag car then go down the sr20 route cause you will have 150bhp standard from the primera gt lump. or if you look into the sr20det from a gtir you have 220bhp :p and these can be mated to a fwd box.

if you have the cash then by all means go for the ma10et but it just doesn't make sense to me to go down that route if your looking for power.
