Hi from Luke & Jord, friends who decided to embark on a Micra project.

Decided on the 998 k11 as a basis with the intention of swapping the engine, possibly adding a turbo in the future. For £300 we purchased an R reg vehicle, which had seen better days (especially on it's exterior)

We shall slowly be stripping and replacing the entirety of the car, so keep an eye out for progress updates

So we got the car back on a trailer at the start of this week.

First priority was to strip the car down to bare metal, creating a shell for us to work from. We started removing the front bonnet section, making it a bit more accessible for us to work on the engine!

Next is to remove the braking system and driveshafts!

Got the car up on stands and removed the wheels to show a decent condition braking system; which we started removing immediately:

Here's the interior (Has the odor of a 1950's caravan) that I'm planning to strip ASAP:

On a side note; it's almost certain the previous owner was a mass murderer, judging by the tools left in the boot:

Got the block out yesterday!

Now to strip it down for parts to re use, and find a nice donor block to work on!
