Lighting in My Dash

Hey people!!!

As i have now got my gen 2 dial thingy magiggy ready with the correct mileage thought i'd sort out my blue led's for inside!!!!

Read the guide for doing this and enthusiastically went on ebay then a random search of the net!
Sadly i have as yet been unable to find the leds at anywhere near the price quoted in the guide and haven't been able to find the 6 led cluster (only four) If someone could point me in the right direction that'd be great or are the bulbs discontinued or something!!!!!!!!

Having had personal experience with Led's in my dial cluster I have to say they are an absolute load of crap.

having put them in less than 6 months ago 2 of them have gone out and only one is left which flickers. i got them from the place where it says in the guide and they were a waste of money. looked good for a short time but dont last. original ones were in the car for 13 years, LED's last me 6 months if that

I have to agree. About five of mine have died and i've got one left which flickers!

mine are all fine, but i imported my leds from japan
suppose it goes down to ye old " you get what u pay for"

Thanks for the advice

Now i have a bit of a connundrum, do i get the bulbs or not, doesn't seem much point if the things won't last that long!!! grr

Can i have some opinions????

Items for note i've just ordered a load of in car neons, have a blue led gear shift, a blue led map light, and a suburu blue dash board!!!!
Can you spot a theme!!!

But i don't paticualy dislike the colour they are, so what do we think?????

well i bought mine from a website!! 501 Type so straight fit yet they just didnt last long.. i think theres a bit of confusion about making your own and buying off the shelf ones!

I've emailed UltraLEDs asking for some replacements cause there all dead even with a claimed 100,000 hours life

Mine are fine also. Also got them imported for quite cheap and they work fine.

I fitted these to mine, although they are only a 4 cluster they are a lot brighter than the 6. They are a new type I belive.

If you phone they guy he is pretty helpful, if your buying a pair and maybe a few others he will do a good deal. I think he done that pair for £5.50.

Try this one for the interior light, its a bit bigger than the one thats in there but the socket will bend. Make all the difference.
