Has anyone tried fitting LED high/low beam bulbs?

These will not do. The light output is so low.

You will need to find a kit with ballasts, much like HID kits.
Keep in mind LED light output is dependant on the temperature of the light unit itself, so cheap kits that overheat will see output drop.

Also, not legal, yada yada.
