leak on steering box,k12 1.0s

:grinning:I have only had the micra about six weeks and noticed a blob of oil on the drivefwn but not every day and its not engine oil, so today checked under car and no oil,pulled off the drive and there was a blob of oil,so i can only assume that its coming from the steering pump as its in that areagrr,but i cant find the pump or where to top up the oil?:wasntme:. has there been any recalls on the steering or anyone claimed under a warranty? Any help would be of great help...Thanks in advance....Stef..........:down:

they have electric steering it could be brake fluid, gear box oil or engine oil

thanks for that Matt, jacked up car this morning and checked before starting, no oil,started it up and got underneath and oil is coming from back of engine but only from cold.will have another look tomorrow. cheers Stef...

sounds like the oil filter is loose possibly
