Do they need cutting to fit?

IIRC they do need a little trimming in the middle (as the ones I've seen come in two parts).

Nah the laguna ones are 1 piece. You need to trim them at the ends as the laguna bumpers are much deeper than micra.
I fixed mine in the middle then worked my way round screwing it in.
